The Kentucky Open Government Coalition proudly launches its new logo, joining multiple state and local coalitions across the country in the shared effort to advance government transparency and accountability.

The Coalition was established in March 2019, in the midst of an unprecedented legislative assault on the Kentucky open records law.

That battle continues to this day along with the Coalition’s efforts to enhance the public’s understanding of its right to know under the Commonwealth’s existing open records and open meetings laws.
