Kentucky Open Government Coalition directors Jeremy Rogers and Amye Bensenhaver participate in a recent session of Western Kentucky University Herald's Journalism Boot Camp. Incoming freshman who have expressed an interest in journalism as a major were "treated" to two hours of two wildly enthusiastic open government veterans discussing two laws, open records and open meetings, that may figure prominently in the students' professional futures (if we didn't discourage them *too* much).

The Coalition welcomes opportunities like these to expand awareness and understanding of, and appreciation for, Kentucky's Open Government laws.
