Thanks to Tom Martin and WEKU, Eastern Kentucky University’s public radio affiliate, for extending an invitation to Kentucky Open Government Coalition’s Amye Bensenhaver to discuss “diminishing transparency in government” on Eastern Standard, “a weekly radio magazine from 88.9.”

We discuss recent legislative amendments to the open records and open meetings laws, as well as changes in the interpretation of the laws, that threaten half-century-old public rights to access public records and attend public meetings.
