Attached is the opinion requested in your letter of June 19, 1985. The Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Prevention Board will have a great interest in working with you and your staff in developing the definition of "sexual exploitation" when you seek to amend the child abuse statute.
By law this Board is charged with making recommendations concerning sexually abused and exploited children. Secretary Austin is represented on this Board by Commissioner Anna Grace Day.
My I suggest that you communicate CHR's desires in this area to the Board through Commissioner Day at our October meeting if at all possible.
