While some have questioned how up-to-date the information is, and pointed out discrepancies in numbers, few — if any — have questioned the level of transparency and candor of the Beshear administration in disclosing critical data about the victims of coronavirus.

And rather than becoming defensive, the Governor has consistently acknowledged — and accepted responsibility — on those mercifully rare occasions when the information was later determined to be flawed.

This information is critical for Kentuckians to make educated and informed decisions about their personal health and welfare.

Other states are not so lucky.
