What did the records produced by the Labor Cabinet reveal?

The following is the result of KYCIR's examination of records produced by the Labor Cabinet following the Center's successful open records challenge.

Once again, the article suggests a "culture of secrecy" at the Labor Cabinet similar to that which the Franklin Circuit Court identified, and harshly criticized, in an earlier case involving the Cabinets for Health and Family Services.

The article also paints a picture of an agency anxious to quickly dispose of allegations of sexual harassment —without investigation or final action based thereon — when the employee against whom the allegations were made transferred to a different state agency.

Out of sight, out of mind.
