As we approach the 2022 legislative session, this issue looms. Kentucky is one of a minority of states that have not enacted an anti-SLAPP (Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation) law. As baseless threats of legal action against the exercise of free speech increase in Kentucky, it is critical that lawmakers enact an anti-SLAPP law.
