This is a tremendously useful guide to open records and open meetings in Kentucky published by the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press and written by Jeremy Rogers.

Jeremy is a partner at Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP, and one of Kentucky's leading authorities on the state's open records and open meetings laws. He has litigated most of the significant open records and meetings cases in the past 18 years.

Reporters, editors, citizens, and at least one assistant attorney general have benefited from Jeremy's steady hand, keen insight, vast knowledge, and deep commitment to open government through the years.

Along with Jennifer P. Brown and Amye Bensenhaver, Jeremy has agreed to serve as a board director of the recently formed nonpartisan, nonprofit Kentucky Open Government Coalition.

Please take a moment to review the guide. The answers to many open records and meeting questions can be found within it.
