Sincere thanks to Tracy Ross at WKMS, Murray State University's National Public Radio affiliate, for the opportunity to discuss the Kentucky Open Government Coalition.

We discussed the "birth" of the Coalition during the unprecedented 2019 legislative assault on Kentucky's open records law, what the Coalition has accomplished so far, and our vision for the Coalition's future.

We emphasized the need for citizens to empower themselves with knowledge of the laws, to become advocates for the laws, and to remain vigilant. Our message: There is no end in sight to the threats to Kentucky's open government laws, and we must firmly commit to preserving them.
