More on the San Jose mayor who attempted to circumvent the California public records law by using his private device and account to conduct public business — and encouraging those communicating with him about public business to do the same.

Seems the same conduct by the same mayor prompted the California Supreme Court to declare his use of the private device for public business, and deletion of resulting emails, a violation of the state public records law in a 2017 opinion.
