More legal maneuvering in the Franklin Circuit Court today as WDRB asked Judge Thomas Wingate to compel disclosure of Kentucky State Police internal affairs investigative files which the Kentucky attorney general decided were improperly withheld (some relating to this week's Sunday Edition):

KSP asked the court to postpone ruling in this case while a Court of Appeals case involving a similar issue is pending, but the Franklin Circuit Court declined the request.

Having confirmed that the internal affairs investigations are concluded, Judge Wingate indicated he would issue an opinion shortly.
