More details emerge about the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission's decision to release information about horse fatalities on Kentucky's racetracks to the Kentucky Center for Investigative Reporting.

KYCIR had appealed the Commission's earlier denial of its request to the attorney general, and an open records decision was scheduled to be issued tomorrow.

Agreeing to release and hereafter post the requested information on it's website, the Commission definitely took this one down to the wire.
