COALITION CONDUCTS SURVEY OF ATTORNEY GENERAL CANDIDATES

Kentucky voters will elect on Nov. 5 a new attorney general, whose statutory duties will include reviewing disputes between citizens and public agencies concerning access to public records and meetings.

In an effort to highlight this critical duty in preserving open government and to help educate voters on these issues, the Kentucky Open Government Coalition asked the candidates, Daniel Cameron and Greg Stumbo, to respond to five questions related to the open meeting and open records laws.

Today, we are releasing the coalition's questionnaire and the responses provided by Mr. Stumbo. To date, Mr. Cameron has not responded.
