*Arguably* a preliminary draft until executed, and exempt from public inspection until adopted into or as the basis for final agency action per KRS 61.878(1)(i), the "tentative" contract between Louisville Metro and the LMPD union includes "enhancements" to discipline & records retention.

Let's hope that someone with an experienced and critical eye reviews these contract terms for compliance with open records and records management/retention laws before the contract is finalized.

Of course, Louisville is free to waive the arguably applicable exception shielding the tentative contract from disclosure, in the interest of full transparency, if no governmental interest would be compromised.
