In apparent compliance with Kentucky's Open Meetings Act, "The [Kentucky State University Presidential Search] committee met for the first time on Tuesday evening & discussed a potential timeline for the search for the next president of KSU. The official timeline will be approved at the committee's next meeting."

First steps here would be noticing this inaugural meeting as a special meeting and adopting a schedule of regular meetings pursuant to KRS 61.820.
