Another open records case that made headlines last year. Here, a widely respected physician and emeritus professor of medicine, Dr. Peter Hasselbacher, was hauled into court by the University of Louisville after he obtained a favorable ruling from the Kentucky attorney general in an open records appeal. The case involved access to records relied upon by university officials, specifically James Ramsey, in deciding to suspend post season play by the men's basketball team.
