And finally there is this. A 24 year old investigation into the disappearance of a young woman, Heather Teague, and her mother Sarah's decades long battle to wrestled public records out of Kentucky State Police custody to expose the truth about Heather's abduction.

After years of KSP obfuscation, the Franklin Circuit Court ordered release of the records and awarded Sarah penalties and her attorney, Chip Adams, his fees.

Adding ultimate insult to injury, KSP acknowledged violation of the open records law but appealed the award of penalties and attorney's fees.

The Kentucky Court of Appeals ultimately ruled in Sarah's favor. She will return to Franklin Circuit Court next week on remaining unresolved issues.
